Color variation and high value materials can be combined at any will. We develop various concepts based on various styles – you decide.
For most carpets we can guarantee color authenticity. This means that nearly all existing colors can be produced. In addition all sizes or special shapes are possible. Marlic carpets are proverbially tailor made. Everyone unique in its own way. This enables us justifying your very special wishes regardless of how unusual they may be.
High Value Materials
The highest quality of all materials is always of prime importance for Marlic Carpets. We use natural Materials, mainly wool but also linen and cotton. Should you prefer synthetic materials, we can resort to polychlorine polyamide or vinyl. This is of special interests to people who have any allergy to natural materials.
International orientated
Marlic Carpets Design is not only active in the Netherlands. We are present in various countries from Europe to Australia. Marlic concentrates mainly on the professional retailer, event manager and architects. We are of course also available for every private interested customer, when advice and support for a special carpet is required.

Qualities
Our individual carpets can be divided into two subcategories: Handtufted carpets and hand-woven carpets.
Tufting is very similar to the processing of a sewing machine. With needles the pol-yarn
is embedded into the base-material. During the reverse motion of the needles, the yarn
is held by pincers, so nooses can emerge.

While weaving two or more threads are crossed in a right-angled.
Thereby the so called chained threads act as backing material, into which the
weft threads are drawed.
